Two people were injured Saturday morning in a three‑vehicle crash on U.S. 60 in Fordland.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 10:54 a.m. when a southbound 2010 Chevrolet Impala pulled into the path of an eastbound 2019 Dodge Charger. The impact pushed the Charger into a 2012 Ford Edge that was stopped in the roadway. All three vehicles were totaled and later towed from the scene.
A 9‑year‑old boy and a 33‑year‑old woman from Mountain Grove, both passengers in the Impala, suffered minor injuries. They were wearing safety devices and were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
The drivers of all three vehicles—men from Mountain Grove and a woman from Fordland—were not reported injured.
