Funeral Services for Ronald Wayne Risner, Age 73 of Imboden, Arkansas (formerly of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas) will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 at The Carter Funeral Home, Thayer, Missouri, beginning at 2:00 PM. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in The Grand Gulf-Shiloh Cemetery, Thayer, Missouri.
Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Risner, 73, of Imboden, Arkansas, passed away on June 21, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Ronnie was born on June 22, 1952, to Frandell Risner and Ethel (Phillips) Risner in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.
Ronald married Brenda (Pittman) Risner in 1972 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, they spent 54 years full of love for each other. He was a cane maker, a master of his craft some would say. Ronnie enjoyed spending his free time planting and maintaining his garden, and spending time with his family. He loved going outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Risner; his daughter, Belinda (Joseph) Ward; his grandchildren Garrett (Haley) Young, Jesse (Madalyn) Young, Olivia Young, Brooklyn Ward, River Ward, and Paisley Ward; his great-grandchildren, Kinsley Young, Scarlett Young, Harper Young, and Hudson Young; his sister-in-law, Linda Risner; he is also survived by his friends, Steve Dillard, Jimmy Marler, Robbie Mullins, Judy and Grady Story, Mike Smith, Ryan Rose, John Wicker, Sarah Presley, Jonathan Marler, Andy Woods, and many more relatives and friends, and loving pet dog Champ.
Ronald was preceded by his parents, Frandell and Ethel Risner; his brother, Gary Risner; his sister; Janice (Donald) Davis; he is also preceded by his niece Ronda Rucker; and his nephews, Rodney Risner, Clark Risner
