Ricki Linn Brizzee, daughter of Lynn Moon (Wilson) and the late Michael Joseph Brizzee, Sr. was born January 6, 1969, in Burbank, California, and departed this life June 23, 2026, at her home in Rogersville, Missouri, at the age of 57.
Shortly after her birth, Ricki and her family relocated to Glendale, Arizona, settling into what can only be described as the dream neighborhood on 53rd Lane. She spent her childhood as the “head of the street”, keeping all the neighborhood kids in line. While she was the tough big sister, she was always soft at heart. She graduated from Cactus High School with the class of 1987, and during her school years, she absolutely loved playing softball.
If Ricki could be described in one sentence, it would be that she was a very simple person who loved simple things. She was always considered the “cool” aunt, loving nothing more than spending time with her nieces and nephews. Through her dedication to them, she earned many affectionate titles, such as “Aunt Buckee” and “Wikee.” In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to music, especially the classics, like Kiss, and was a fiercely devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
On January 19, 2025, Ricki committed her life to God, a decision that brought her great peace.
Ricki was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nana and Papa, and was reunited in heaven with her father, Michael Joseph Brizzee, Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Lynn Moon, daughter, Brianna, brother, Joe (Kris), and sister, Dina (Andrew), her loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews; Brooke, Erik, and Parker Cool, Kaity, Denton, and Blair Bushong, Chase, Kailee, and Aubree Brizzee, and Brother, Autumn, Tucker, and Cooper Osborne, Joey Brizzee, honorary nephew Austin (Lucy) Fewkes, and so many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. All of these loving family members have their own special stories to tell, just ask any of us!
All of her MANY friends were and will always be a part of the family as well. When she met you, that was it! You had no choice but to be part of the family.
Ricki was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her knew just how truly special she was. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all those she leaves behind.
