A Springfield man was moderately injured Tuesday afternoon after his SUV ran off U.S. 60 west of Mansfield and overturned, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers report the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on June 30, about one mile west of Mansfield. A 2015 Kia Sorento, driven by a 69‑year‑old man from Springfield, was traveling eastbound when it went off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment, struck a tree, and overturned.

The driver, who was wearing a safety device, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield.
