Update on Oregon County FEMA Low Water Crossing Project

Jake Parker announced today that the Oregon County  FEMA Low Water Crossings project has been obligated to SEMA, which means Oregon County will receive $669,194.52 to rebuild the damaged low water crossings in the northern district.

Bid information will be posted next week. Crossings will be bid in groups of five, with one bid walk per site. Contractors must have insurance and workers’ comp. Thank you for your patience. I will announce road closures at least two weeks ahead of time.

Each new crossing will be closed for one week after concrete is poured. We’ll provide alternate routes and keep everyone informed as work moves forward.

He added, thank you to everyone who has been involved to this point.
