The City of Mountain View is alerting residents to road work taking place Friday, July 3, on South Elm Street and in the Five Corners area.
The project is being completed with help from the North Howell County Road Commission after the city’s Bobcat was destroyed in an April fire and later declared a total loss by insurance.

Officials say the delay in replacing the equipment has slowed cleanup efforts and they appreciate the public’s patience. The city extends a special thank‑you to the Road Commission for its assistance.
