A Hartville man was seriously hurt Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on Highway F, seven miles northwest of Hartville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 4:50 p.m. as a 1999 Victory motorcycle was traveling westbound. Troopers say the motorcycle began to slide, causing it to overturn.

The rider, a 33‑year‑old man from Hartville, sustained moderate injuries. He was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash. Mercy EMS transported him to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
