Willow Springs Arts Council Announces Summer Arts Camp

The Willow Springs Arts Council is celebrating the successful start of another Summer Arts Camp as
local kids spend the week exploring their creativity through a variety of fun and engaging art projects.
Registration for this year’s camp filled quickly, reflecting the enthusiasm and support for arts education
in our community. Throughout the week, participants will enjoy hands-on projects designed to
encourage imagination, creativity, and self-expression while making new friends and lasting memories.

The Arts Council extends its sincere appreciation to instructor Ginny Thomason, whose passion for art
and dedication to teaching always make these camps an incredible experience for every participant.
She has been assisted throughout the week by members of the Willow Springs Arts Council, Rotary
members, Simmons Bank employees, West Plains Bank employees, Chamber Ambassadors, and
volunteers from the Willow Springs Community Foundation, whose time and encouragement help
make the camp a success.

The Willow Springs Arts Council is especially grateful to Pizza Americana for providing the generous
grant that made it possible to offer this year’s Summer Arts Camp free of charge to every child who is
participating.

A special thank you also goes to local author Lori Foster, who generously donated a copy of her
children’s book, Hank & Edna’s Big Adventure, to every participant. Lori personally presented the
books at the opening of camp, giving each child a meaningful keepsake to take home.

The Arts Council would also like to recognize the Willow Springs Community Foundation for
generously providing snacks for the campers throughout the week.

“The success of this camp is a wonderful example of what can happen when community organizations,
local businesses, and volunteers come together to invest in our children,” said the Willow Springs Arts
Council. “We are incredibly thankful to everyone who is helping to make this year’s camp such a
memorable experience.”

The Willow Springs Arts Council remains committed to providing opportunities that encourage
creativity, foster artistic expression, and enrich the lives of area youth. Based on the overwhelming
response to this year’s program, the Council looks forward to continuing Summer Arts Camp for years
to come.
