West Plains High School students Dane Kirby and Clayton Earl represented the Zizzers at Missouri Boys State this summer, earning recognition for their leadership and service.
During the week‑long program, Dane served on the Color Guard, while Clayton was selected as Fire Chief, roles that gave both students hands‑on experience in government, citizenship, and public service. A highlight of the event included hearing from Martin Luther King III, who addressed participants as a guest speaker.
