IZARD COUNTY, Ark. — The Izard County Sheriff’s Office released its activity report for the month of June, showing deputies, dispatchers, jail staff and office administration handled a steady workload across the county.
During June, dispatch received 339 calls for service. Deputies completed 80 incident reports and 13 motor vehicle accident reports.

The sheriff’s office also reported that 12 new felony cases were filed with the Izard County Circuit Clerk’s Office during the month. Deputies served 51 civil papers.
Jail staff booked a total of 40 inmates in June, with the jail holding a daily average of 30 inmates.
Office administration collected $13,586.67 in restitution for victims, fines and fees during the month.
