A Hollister man and two passengers were involved in a single‑vehicle crash Monday northeast of Gainesville.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 1:35 p.m. on Highway H, about 17 miles northeast of Gainesville. Troopers report a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling north when it ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

The driver, a 51‑year‑old man from Hollister, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Ozark County Jail. Two female passengers were also in the vehicle: a 27‑year‑old Mountain Home woman, who was not injured and left the scene in a private vehicle, and a 45‑year‑old Ozark woman, who suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Cox South Hospital.
