The Lincoln School Project in West Plains will mark its three‑year anniversary with a public viewing and discussion of The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at the historic Lincoln School building on Pony Thomas Street. Organizers say the classic film offers an opportunity for reflection and conversation as the project continues its work preserving the former African American school and its legacy.
