WEST PLAINS, Mo. — West Plains High School and West Plains Middle School have been named 2025–2026 National Beta Schools of Merit, a national honor recognizing campuses that provide National Beta to all eligible grade levels while demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence.
Only 6,103 Beta clubs nationwide earned this distinction for the upcoming school year.
National Beta programs highlight student achievement and promote leadership, character, service, and academic excellence. District officials say they’re proud of the students, sponsors, and staff at both schools for fostering an environment that builds future leaders.
The recognition celebrates the collective effort of everyone involved in supporting student success and strengthening the district’s academic culture.
