The City of Mtn View took delivery of the Takeuchi TL8R2 skid steer purchased from Hayden Machinery of West Plains, MO, to replace the equipment lost due to fire in early April of this year. The insurance settlement amount was applied to the purchase price of $67,000.00 bringing the purchase price down to slightly over $49,000.00.
This unit was chosen from the 19 very competitive bids received by the city. A thorough inservice and demonstration was provided by the Hayden Machinery salesperson who delivered it to the city maintenence shop. Verification of the compatible between the existing implements owned by the city and the new piece of equipment were confirmed.
