Bobby Witt Jr. had his second three-hit game since returning from a back injury. He singled, stole his American League-leading 31st base, and scored on Jac Caglianone’s two-run single in the third. Witt doubled and scored again on Salvador Perez’s RBI single in the sixth to give Kansas City a 3-1 lead, but the Twins answered in the eighth. Josh Bell drove in a run with a single, then after Nate Pearson hit Royce Lewis with the bases loaded, Brooks Lee lined a go-ahead single to right as Minnesota rallied for the win.
