WEST PLAINS, Mo. — The Fifth Annual West Plains Folds of Honor Golf Tournament held Friday, June 26, at West Plains Country Club, raised $28,000 in support of Folds of Honor. Since the tournament began in 2022, the event has generated $145,000 to help fund educational scholarships for the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.
The tournament included a four-person scramble, with 26 teams participating throughout the day. Following the tournament, participants gathered for post-tournament entertainment by Kirk Pierce, while raffle drawings provided additional opportunities to support Folds of Honor.
“Five years ago, we hoped this tournament would become something our community would rally around, and it exceeded every expectation,” said West Plains Bank and Trust Company President/CEO and tournament organizer David M. Gohn. “The generosity of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers and donors continues to make a meaningful difference through Folds of Honor, and we’re grateful to everyone who has helped build this event into what it is today. It’s inspiring to see our community come together year after year to support such an important mission, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.”
Tournament organizers David M.
