Charles “Chuck” Friend, 75, of Exeter, MO passed away August 11, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, AR. He was born July 17, 1951 in Gainesville, MO to Efton and Juanita (Murrill) Friend.
Chuck was a long-time truck driver for most of his life. He was married to Sandy Eagleburger of Springfield, MO, and they had two children, Darrell and Dana.
He is survived by one son, Darrell Friend of Exeter, MO; one sister, Wilma Pendergrass of Gainesville, MO; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Efton and Juanita Friend; his wife, Sandy; his daughter, Dana; nine siblings: Betty Garfit, George Friend, Nettie Sue Hogan, O.J. Friend, Rebecca Friend, Eva June, Benny Friend, Lawrence Friend & Mary Bates.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
