High School Football Jamborees will take place on Fri August 21st West Plains will be in the Rolla Jamboree, Mountain Grove will host a Jamboree with Willow Springs, and Thayer. The Salem Tigers will play in the Sullivan Jamboree, Houston will go to the Clever Jamboree and Liberty will be in the Sarcoxie Jamboree. Again, the Jamborees will be held on Friday Augusts 21st.

High School Volleyball regular season will kick off soon The Lady Liberty Eagles will compete in the St Joseph State Preview on Aug 28th and 29th facing Lafayette County and Benton on Friday the 28th and Sullivan and Adrian on Saturday the 29th. West Plains Lady Zizzers will host Mountain Home on Aug 31st and host Willow Springs Lady Bears on Sept 1st.
Liberty Eagle 3k Plus race on Aug 31st for varsity boys and girls also Jr high boys and girls and 1-mile open race for elementary grades. Race cost is 50.00 dollars per team per gender or 10 dollars per runner. Course will be set up at Liberty H.S and Middle school and will be spectator friendly.
The 6th annual Jim”the hammer” memorial golf tournament held at the Willow Springs Thomas F Benyo Municipal Golf Course. It is a individual tournament. Tee off is at 11. Entry fee is 60 dollars.
