Ruth Ann Weatherston, 66, of Bucyrus passed away on August 17, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. Ruth was born on July 25, 1960, in Thayer, MO to James and DeLois Ellison.
Ruth attended school in West Plains. She worked in home health care as a care giver. Ruth enjoyed word searches and bowling.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Weatherston, and her parents. She is survived by her children, Edith Wen, Kathy Weatherston, and Rick Weatherston; nine grandchildren, Anthony Carroll, Morgan Royal, Trenton Royal, Austin Royal, Shayla Long, Alyssa Long, Airana Long, Brooklyn Long, and Hope Long; and one great grandchild, Raylee Carroll.
A celebration of life service for Ruth will be held at a later date
