Funeral Services for Ina Geraldine Ipock, Age 86 of Seymour, Missouri will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 at The Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Seymour, Missouri, beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place in The Seymour, Masonic Cemetery, Seymour, Missouri. Memorial Contributions for Geraldine may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Ina Geraldine (Cantrell) Ipock, daughter of the late Moses and Relda (Hyder) Cantrell born March 13, 1940, in Seymour, Missouri, departed this life August 19, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 86 years, 5 months, and 6 days.

Raised in Seymour, she spent her childhood attending Gentry School in Seymour, Missouri. On January 11, 1974, she was united in marriage to Dennis Ipock at The First Baptist Church in Seymour. Together, she and Dennis built a home filled with love, faith, and cherished memories.

In her early career, she worked with Lilly Tulip and Zenith before dedicating herself to being a full-time homemaker. Throughout Seymour, she was fondly known and remembered for years as the local “Avon Lady,” a role through which she delighted in visiting with neighbors and making lifelong friends across the community.

Her faith was the center of her life. A lifelong Christian, she was an active and faithful member of the Seymour Assembly of God under the ministry of Pastor Edward Johns. She took great joy in directing and organizing the church’s annual Christmas plays.

Among her greatest passions were family gatherings, traveling, and exploring new dining places. She treasured trips to Bull Shoals Lake and spent countless happy hours gathered around the table playing cards, a game at which she was remarkably skilled and enjoyed immensely. She was known for her orneriness, and her children would all tell you she was a real spitfire!

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Moses and Relda Cantrell, two brothers, Kenny and Glen Cantrell, and one granddaughter, Zoey Ipock.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Ipock, two sons, Wayne Cantrell and wife, Dottie, Michael Ipock and wife, Erin, two daughters, Brenda Denney and husband, Mark, Sherri Thompson and husband, James, one sister, Darlene Mason and husband, Keith, eight grandchildren, Lendell and wife, Karen, Brandon, Jeremy and wife, Alicia, Austyn and wife, Michelle, Nickolys, Alex and wife, Kristin, Pierce, Kenzi and husband, Luis, eight great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Jacob, Connor, Braelyn, Kaitlyn, Sofia, Natalie, and Jordan and three great-great-grandchildren, Addie, Aiden, and Kayden. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Geraldine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
