Graveside Funeral Services for Ora “Claudene” Freeman, Age 90 of Willow Springs, Missouri will be held on Monday, August 24th, 2026 at The Willow Springs City Cemetery, beginning at 10:00 AM under the direction of The Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
Ora “Claudene” Freeman passed away Thursday morning, August 20, 2026,at Willow Care Nursing Home.
She was born December 27, 1935, in Willow Springs, Missouri to Claude and Ruth (Ray) Johnson. She was married to Gerald Freeman on April 24, 1971. Mrs. Freeman worked at State Bank in Willow Springs for a number of years and was also a homemaker. She loved children and cared for several in her home. She was a member of Pomona Christian Church and loved to quilt with the Ladies Aide. Claudene served in the church in various roles for many years and was a dedicated Christian. She also enjoyed being “Maw Maw” to her grand dog, Chico. Claudene will be remembered for her love for God and love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Claudene was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves behind her husband, Gerald Freeman; two sons, Tony Warden (Janet Warden) of Bonner Springs, Kansas and Matthew Freeman of Willow Springs; her stepson, Joe Smith (Carrie Smith) of Branson, Missouri; her grandchildren, Kami Linnens of Wichita, Kansas and A.J. Warden of Bonner Springs, Kansas; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Glenna Kentch of Willow Springs and Linda Baker (Charles Baker) of McLouth, Kansas; her brother, Richard Johnson, of Williston, South Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, all who called her “Aunt Deanie”.
