A Willow Springs man was moderately injured Friday evening in a single‑vehicle motorcycle crash east of town, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the crash happened at 5:35 p.m. on County Road 3380, about four miles east of Willow Springs. Investigators report that a westbound 1999 Harley‑Davidson traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a mailbox. The motorcycle sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by a private party.

The rider, a 44‑year‑old man from Willow Springs, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
