The 2026 West Plains Showdown Volleyball Tournament has set the date for some great volleyball action at the West Plains Civic Center. Saturday Sept 12th and games will start at 9am. Several area Teams will compete if your high school team would like to compete in this volleyball show down contact Zizzer head volleyball coach Hailey Beazley.

Saturday Sept 19th will be the Willow Springs Thomas F Benyo Greens Keeper Revenge Tournament. 2-person scramble for 18 holes with a tee time of 10am. Richard and Keith will wreak havoc on golfers as they try to put up a good score on their score card. Cost is 100 dollars per team and there is a sign-up sheet inside the pro-shop.
High School Volleyball regular season will kick off soon The Lady Liberty Eagles will compete in the St Joseph State Preview on Aug 28th and 29th facing Lafayette County and Benton on Friday the 28th and Sullivan and Adrian on Saturday the 29th. West Plains Lady Zizzers will host Mountain Home on Aug 31st and host Willow Springs Lady Bears on Sept 1st.
The Elks Lodge Harold Wilson / Richard Huff Memorial Charity Golf Classic Saturday Sept 19th at North Terra Golf Course. It’s a two-person scramble for 18 holes entry fee is 150 dollars per team and you need to sign your team up inside the North Terra pro shop. Tee time will be 11am and the sign in starts at 9am on morning of the tournament. All proceeds will benefit Elks Veterans Programs.
