Rover, MO. – Starting today, County Road 340 in Rover will be closed as replacement work begins on a low-water crossing.
Road crews will remove the current structure and construct a new one, with an estimated time of finish being in two weeks, allowing time for both construction and the curing of the concrete.

Oregon County Associate Commissioner Jake Parker states that after this structure is replaced, work will immediately begin work on the next scheduled replacement along the same road. This will last an addtional two weeks, leaving the road closed for the next month.
In addition to this work, Parker additionally stated that work will also be done on County Road 154a, but a closure is not expected to take place here.
