The Cardinals got edged by the Orioles 8-7. Riley O’Brien gave up the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning. The Cardinals were down 7-0 in the second inning, but they rallied to tie the game. The Redbirds will try to end their five-game losing streak this afternoon.

The Royals’ nine-game win streak is over after a 3-0 loss to the Blue Jays. Starter Randy Dobnak made one mistake, a three-run homer to Nathan Lukes in the fourth inning. The Royals lost back on August 15th, a 1-0 shutout, in between losses, KC scoring 55 runs during that win streak. They go for the series tonight.
