A Cabool woman was injured early Friday after her vehicle struck a cow on Business 60 east of Mountain Grove. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on August 28, about a mile and a half east of town.
Troopers say the eastbound 2015 Ford Fiesta hit the animal in the roadway, causing the car to sustain total damage. The driver, a 51‑year‑old woman from Cabool, was wearing a safety device and suffered minor injuries.

She was transported by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
