SQUIRES, Mo. — The Squires Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual meeting Thursday, Sept. 17, giving area residents an opportunity to meet local firefighters, hear about the department’s yearly results and ask questions.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Squires Fire Department, located near the intersection of Highway 14 and Highway 5 in Squires.
Department members plan to discuss annual results and provide residents with information about the volunteer department and its work in the community.
A community question and answer session will also be held, allowing residents to speak directly with firefighters and learn more about the department.
Community members are encouraged to attend the annual meeting and meet the volunteers who provide fire protection and emergency response services to the Squires area.
