A Mountain Grove teenager suffered minor injuries Thursday afternoon in a single‑vehicle crash on U.S. 60, one mile east of Macomb. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred at 3:18 p.m. when a 17‑year‑old eastbound driver ran off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected. The 2004 Chevrolet Silverado skidded across the median and the westbound lanes before striking a rock bluff.
Troopers say the juvenile driver was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Mercy Ambulance for treatment. The pickup sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
