Ellington, MO. – Two individuals were serious injured in a one-vehicle accident on Friday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
The crash report on this incident states that a 58-year-old Redford man was driving a Ford Explorer on Highway 21 north of Ellington when he travelled off the roadway, overcorrected, and overturned the vehicle at around 1:10pm.

the driver, who was not wearing a safety device, was pronounced deceased at 2pm at the scene. A female occupant, a 46-year-old Redford resident, was moderately injured and taken to Poplar Bluff Regional for further treatment.
This is Troop G’s 20th fatality of the year, compared to 25 this time last year.
