Memorial Services for Karen Dorothy Grover, Age 85 of Cabool, Missouri will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 at The Dawson Assembly of God, Mountain Grove, Missouri, beginning at 10:00 AM.

Karen Dorothy Grover was taken from us too soon, but passed away peacefully on Sep. 6, 2026, in Cabool, Missouri, after a wonderful life serving her family, church, and community. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and lived His love every day. She will be remembered for her love, patience, and willingness to help anyone in need. Her “Jesus Loves You!” and hugs were known by many. No matter what life threw at her, she always leaned on Jesus for her support.
Karen was born on Oct. 17, 1940, in Downers Grove, Illinois. She moved to Wisconsin, then to Hayward, California, with her parents and younger sister, Lynn Bentele.
Karen married Wayne L. Munday I on June 24, 1954, and had 4 children. They lived in Hayward until they moved to Union City, California, in 1966. They moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri, in 1982.
Later, she married Paul Grover of Mountain Grove, on Feb. 21, 1986. They enjoyed 37 years of marriage together before Paul’s passing in 2023.
Karen loved camping, fishing, and truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She made cakes for many people in the Mountain Grove area: weddings, birthdays, and other events. Karen volunteered for many years at the Love Center at Calvary Temple Church, which she attended for many years. In her later years, Karen and Paul attended Dawson Assembly of God until Paul passed and she went into a nursing home, due to health issues.
Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was proud of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed, but we will cherish our memories of our time together.
Karen was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne L. Munday, and second husband, Paul Grover; daughter, Suzanne Louise Gonzalez; grandson, Deonte Flowers; granddaughters, Brittany Rapoza and Erika Nanez; and step-grandson, Chase Christensen.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Edwin Munday, and wife Veronica, of Mountain Grove, and Kevin A. Munday of Elk Grove, California; daughter, Patricia L. Rapoza of North Richland Hills, Texas; numerous stepchildren, grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Lynn Bentele, and husband Tom, of Zanoni, Missouri.
