WEST PLAINS, MO. – New play equipment & improvements are currently being made to The Butler Children’s Park in West Plains. However, use of these pieces and areas of the park near the installation area are not ready just yet.
Equipment is still in the installation process and areas near the equipment are still an active work zone. Temporary fencing and barriers are in place for the safety of all parkgoers.

Officials with the City urge residents to keep themselves and their children off the equipment for the time being in order to avoid any potential safety risks.
The park will officially be opened after all construction is complete and all inspections have been completed with an approval of safe use for the public.
