A 77‑year‑old Peace Valley man was injured Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash east of town. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 2:10 p.m. on Highway W, roughly one mile east of Peace Valley.
Troopers say the westbound 2001 Harley‑Davidson motorcycle struck a deer that entered the roadway. The impact caused the rider to suffer moderate injuries. South Howell County EMS transported him to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.
