Charles William Williams was born January 2, 1943 at home, close to Fredrick Creek at Billmore, to Alma (Roberts) Wiliams and Willard N. Williams.
On May 6, 1961 he married the love of his life Bonnie (Hensley). To this blessed union was born 3 daughters. Susan Michelle (Jeff) Holman, Janella (Kevin) Thompson, and Stefanie (Chris) Clark.
7 cherished Grand Children and 13 GREAT Grandchildren. Jana (Max) Wilkerson – Cameron, Bristal and Crayton. Abby (Chad) Casey – Londyn, Carstyn and Emalyn. Whitney (Cody) Kratzberg – Ridge and Rooney. Nathaniel (Kira) Huxton, Viola and Rocklin. Kalea (Logan) Hughes and Ogden. Ryder (Audra) Clark and Knox. Cooper William Clark
Bonnie, These Girls, Sons in Love, Grandchildren, and GREAT Grands were the GREATEST JOYS that he had in this life.
Charles is survived by his Sister, Lilly Mae Croney, Brothers in law- Russell (Kathryn) Hensley, Donald (Fairy) Hensley, Sisters in law-Kay Hensley, Charlene, Teralyn Hensley and dear nephews Bruce (Dana Kay) Williams and Steve (Mary) Williams. As well as MANY other nieces and nephews whom he thought of so dearly and they him. Pam, Jerry, Angie, Jeffery, Amy, Clayton, Tina and Cherie. Craig, Sonya, Darrin, Sheila, Denise, Beverly, Kristy, Brad, Robin, Joy and Ashley.
He was proceeded in death by Bonnie in January of 2021 whom he grieved until his death. He showed what true love and dedication was by caring for her completely for the last 2 years of her life, rarely leaving her side unless the Girls were with her.
Additionally preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Williard and Stepdad, Bill Overstreet. In-laws Ben and Notra Hensley, Sisters, Freda (Joe) Whitten, Barbara Williams and Brother Cleo (Lois) Williams. Brothers in law-Denzil Hensley, Howard Hensley and Gary Hensley.
Charles was a hard working Farmer, a man of few words, but a deep, steady, soft spoken man of great knowledge and value that IF you stopped and gave him time he would share some wisdom.
He will be so missed by Family, Old Friends and New (whom he met and rekindled) at Shephard’s View the past 2 years. The Caregivers there were truly “God Sent” and loved him to the end.
On of his last statements he shared with others he came in contact with was “I’m going to Heaven soon, are you ready to go there?”
