Mountain Grove, MO. – A Mountain Grove man is facing several criminal charges after being found as a repeat offender with controlled substances.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Charles Tompkins, a 46-year-old man was stopped and arrested by the Patrol Monday at 8:46am.

Tompkins was arrested for violation of probation, but appears to have also picked up another arrest charge of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, in addition to being found driving without a seat belt or properly affixing and display valid plates. Tompkins was arrested earlier this year in April on similar possession charges.
After being arrested, Tompkins was taken to the Wright County Jail, and is being held without bond.
