Charles Louis Gutscher, age 68, passed away on September 25, 2026, at his home in Birch Tree, Missouri. He was born to Robert Lee and Shirley Emily (King) Gutscher on September 17, 1958, in Charlestown, Massachusetts.
He was united in marriage to Sharon Moore on February 14, 2015, in Mountain View, Missouri.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; his parents, Robert and Shirley Gutscher; his brother, David Gutscher; and brother-in-law, Frank Shoults.
He is survived by his sister, Cheryl Shoults of Hartshorn, MO; sister-in-law, Penny Gutscher of Mountain View, MO; step-sons, William Boyd of Mountain View, MO, and David Boyd of Kansas City, MO; nieces, Ashley Shoults, Samantha Gutscher, and Kimberly Shoults; nephews, Andrew Shoults, Robert Shoults, Frankie Shoults Jr., Leon Gutscher, and Robert Gutscher; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Charles was as passionate about life as he was about the activities he loved. He found joy on the golf course, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and cherished sunny days by the river. A barbecuing enthusiast, he loved gathering with friends and family around the grill. Charles was also a faithful attendee at Elliott Ministries.
