Three Dent County men have been arrested in a federal methamphetamine distribution case following a multi‑agency investigation. According to the Salem Police Department, William Wind, 59; Thomas Wind, 60; and David Gray, 58, were taken into custody Monday after being indicted in U.S. District Court in St. Louis.
The indictment, filed September 16, alleges the men conspired to distribute and possess methamphetamine from January 2025 through February 2026. Each is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute meth, and Thomas Wind faces an additional charge of felon in possession of a firearm. Prosecutors are also seeking forfeiture of three pistols and five rifles seized during the investigation.
Authorities emphasize that the charges are accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
The case involved the FBI, RADE Task Force, Salem Police, Licking Police, the Dent and Phelps County Sheriff’s Offices, the Texas County Sheriff’s Department, and Missouri’s Operation Relentless Pursuit. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mohsen Pasha is prosecuting the case.
