The Mountain Grove Police Department has opened applications for its annual Shop With a Hero program, which pairs local children with law enforcement officers for a special Christmas shopping experience. The department says the program is designed to brighten the holidays while helping build positive relationships between youth and the community.
Applications must be submitted by November 15, 2026, and completed forms should be emailed to dbledsoe@mountaingrovemo.gov. Anyone with questions can contact Chief Danny Bledsoe for assistance.
