Debra Lynn (Friend )Mahan, age 71, of Rogersville Missouri went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 8, 2026. She was born on October 4, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri to Elijah Friend Jr and Helen “Myrene” (Harring) Friend. She was the second of five children, and she held a special place in her heart for each one of them. Family meant everything to Debbie, and she loved them with all her heart. Her family moved to Gainesville, Missouri when she was a sophomore in high school and she graduated with the class of 1974.

Debbie was a dedicated, hard-working woman who spent many years working in the factory industry. She worked for and retired from Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, Arkansas, after 28 years of service. She also worked at Copeland and Ava, Missouri, for several years. Throughout her years of employment, she made many friends and left lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to know her.

Debbie loved being around people, having a good cup of coffee and visiting, sharing stories and most of all laughing. Her laughter was a special part of who she was, and she had a way of making those around her feel welcome and loved. She was one of the most selfless people you could ever meet, always putting others before herself. Her love for the Lord and family guided her life, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to the people she loved.

Her greatest pride and joy were her children, Daniel Mahan of Rogersville, Missouri, and Telea Mahan (Chad Crossland), also of Rogersville, Missouri. She loved them with all her heart and was a devoted mother, whose love knew no bounds.

Debbie was also a cherished grandmother to Heath Dale (Shelby) Fordland, Missouri, Tatym Mahan of El Paso, Texas, Madyson Crawford of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Paylie Sea worth of Morrisville, Missouri. Her great grandson, Hayden Wayne Dale of Fordland, Missouri was the light of her life and brought her great joy. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was evident and everything she did. She treasured every moment spent with her family, especially family trips and cruises that created memories they will hold close to their hearts forever.

Debbie is survived by her children, Daniel Mahan and Telea Mahan (Chad Crossland) her grandchildren Heath Dale (Shelby), Tatym Mahan, Madyson Crawford, Paylie Seaworth and her great grandson Hayden Wayne Dale. She is also survived by three of her siblings, Mike, (Kathy) Friend of Isabella, Missouri, Ronda (Jim) Plumb of Springfield, Missouri, and Eric (Missy) Friend of Isabella, Missouri; a special mother-in-law, Juanita Mahan of Theodosia, Missouri; and a dear cousin Sheila Holt of Sparta, Missouri.
