Funeral Services for Wilma Jean Shockey, Age 86 of West Plains, Missouri will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026 in The Rose Chapel of The Robertson Drago Funeral Home, beginning at 2:00 PM. Visitation will take place at The Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Burial will take place in The Howell Valley Cemetery, West Plains, Missouri.
Wilma Jean Shockey, age 86, passed away on October 8, 2026, at Willow Health Care in Willow Springs, Missouri. She was born on February 3, 1940, to Rev. William Abney and Virginia Marsh Abney. She married Marvin Shockey on July 27, 1957, in West Plains. Mrs. Shockey enjoyed working in her yard, making arts and crafts, fishing, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Michael Shockey and wife Jeannette of Ozark, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jessica Stanifer and husband Joshua of Springfield, Missouri, and Zachary Shockey and wife Nicole of Rogersville, Missouri; step-grandchildren Tyler Collins, Ashley Dill, Andrew Evins, and Adrian Evins; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin Shockey, her son Larry Shockey, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Clarence and Alma Hart Shockey, and two step-grandchildren, Austin Clark and Alexander Clark.
