A West Plains man is facing multiple charges after a Sunday afternoon arrest by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. According to the arrest report, 29‑year‑old Dustin I. Eastland was taken into custody at 5:03 p.m. in Howell County.
Troopers say Eastland is accused of felony aggravated driving while intoxicated, felony driving while revoked, and speeding 26 miles per hour or more over the limit. Additional allegations include failure to maintain financial responsibility, no seat belt, and careless and imprudent driving.

Eastland was transported to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office and placed on a 24‑hour hold.
