A 2.5 magnitude earthquake that was centered in Thomasville this morning has been reported by the USGS this afternoon.
A resident of Alton contacted Ozark Radio News this morning reporting that it shook her house around 8:30 a.m.

The earthquake was reported as being 1.5 KM below the surface.
