Ed is survived by his children: Sandra, wife of Joseph Horning; Rebecca, wife of Samuel Kaiser; Rachel, wife of Kirk Hoffman; Edwin Mast Jr.; Angela Mast, longtime partner of Jordan Prince; and Austin Mast. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Sharon, wife of Gary Stoltzfus.

Throughout his life, Ed was a dairy farmer, worked as a forklift operator for Morgan Truck Body in Morgantown PA, and as ranch help at the local farm in Missouri.

Ed enjoyed farming, working with his cows and spending time in the fields.

One of his kid’s favorite childhood memories was riding in the truck with him, listening to rock music turned up loud with him singing at the top of his lungs and smacking the ceiling or dashboard along with the beat. Those times were simple moments but will always be remembered and cherished.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements under the direction of The Evans Funeral Home, Houston, Missouri.
