Melbourne, AR. – Late last week, the Izard County Sheriff’s Office announced they will be changing their procedures surrounding mail to and from inmates at the Izard County Detention Center.
All mail will need to be directed at this address:

You will also need to put the name of the individual incarcerated and a pin number, that the incarcerated person will have, as the addressee.
Upon arrival, a third-party service will scan the incoming mail and make it accessible through tablets and kiosks to incarcerated individuals. Legal mail will be forwarded from the vendor, unopened to the Detention Center for the individual.

These changes are being made in order to reduce the risk of contraband in the facility.
