A Nevada, Missouri man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash west of Mountain Grove on Whetstone Road Sunday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 47‑year‑old rider was eastbound on a 2022 Honda motorcycle around 12:15 p.m. when he lost control while negotiating a curve. The bike traveled off the right side of the roadway, ejecting the driver.
Troopers report the motorcycle sustained minor damage and was removed by a private party. The rider, who was not wearing a safety device, was transported by Texas County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
