An Ellington man was injured Wednesday night in a single-vehicle crash on Walnut Street in Ellington.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 8:56 p.m. on October 28 when a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado traveling westbound left the roadway and struck an embankment.

The driver, 28-year-old David R. Kuntz of Ellington, was transported by air ambulance to Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
Troopers reported Kuntz was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. He was cited for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
