A Mountain View woman is facing a felony charge after authorities say she assaulted her mother during a domestic disturbance Thursday evening.
According to a probable cause statement filed by the Kyle R. Holloway of the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence on County Road 3680 on October 29 following a report of a physical domestic assault. Investigators allege that Tiffany Nicole Thompson grabbed her mother’s shirt collar and pulled her during an argument inside the home.
Deputies interviewed those involved and later arrested Tiffany Nicole Thompson, who was transported to the Howell County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges.
Court records show Thompson has been charged with one count of fourth-degree domestic assault, a class A misdemeanor.
