Izard County, AR. – This morning as of 4:30am, a search was initiated with the combined efforts of the Izard and Sharp Counties Sheriff’s Offices. This was being done to find a pair of people that were reported to be kayaking on the Strawberry River.
The pair, Danny Moran, 72 and Megan Moran, 40, had set their destination as Evening Shade, having started at Horseshoe Bend yesterday. The pair were reported missing at 12:30am this morning.

At of 5:45am, the pair were located and found safe, relieving the scare and officially ending the search.
