WEEKLY INCARCERATION REPORT
January 27th, 2025
According to Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were incarcerated in the last week. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Gregory Stroud, 63 of Melbourne, was arrested on January 21st on a warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and maintaining a drug premises. He was also charged as a habitual offender. On January 22nd, Stroud was also charged in the Izard County Circuit Court with possession of a controlled substance.
Amber Stroud, 46 of Melbourne, was arrested on January 21st on a warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. On January 22nd, Stroud was also charged in the Izard County Circuit Court with possession of a controlled substance and maintain a drug premises.
Dakota Moon, 29 of Mount Pleasant, was arrested on January 22nd for failure to comply with the sex offender registration requirements.
Aaron Laxton, 34 of Melbourne, was arrested on January 22nd for a warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court for two counts of theft and possession of firearms by certain persons. Laxton has also been charged as a habitual offender.
Thomas Young, 41 of Violet Hill, was arrested on January 23rd for a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for failure to appear on traffic violations.
Joseph Horn, 22 of Evening Shade, was arrested on January 23rd for a warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court for two counts for unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, two counts of aggravated assault, unauthorized use of the property of another to facilitate certain crimes, and delivery of a controlled substance.
Christopher Baggett, 38 of Huntsville AL, was arrested on January 24th on a failure to appear warrant out of the Izard County District Court.
