Melbourne, Arkansas – Ozarka College announced that it will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. The event will take place in the lobby of the John E. Miller Education Complex in Melbourne, AR.
“We are thrilled to unite our Ozarka family and community for this important blood drive,” said Chrisha Savell, Administrative Specialist for Admissions at Ozarka. “Every donation has the potential to save lives!”
Local blood drives play a crucial role in maintaining a healthy and accessible blood supply for the community and beyond. When donations exceed local needs, the American Red Cross redistributes the surplus to areas experiencing shortages due to weather, seasonal illnesses, or other challenges. By hosting events like this, Ozarka College honors the generosity of donors and the mission to ensure that no blood goes to waste.
