Featured Pet of the Day – ‘Biscuit’

Good morning, everyone!
Do you remember Biscuit — the very first dog we ever featured as our Featured Pet of the Day? Well, today, Biscuit is back and still hoping for his forever family.

One of Ozarks Pet Rescue’s amazing volunteer fosters had decided to adopt Biscuit, but sadly, due to a move, they can no longer keep him. Now Biscuit is once again looking for a loving home.
Biscuit is a Plott Hound mix (not a pittie), and he’s truly the sweetest boy.

He was originally found as a stray and spent over a year in rescue care before his first adoption. He does need some basic training, but the OPR team is working with him!
Here’s what you should know about Biscuit:
Gets along well with other dogs his size
Curious about cats but shows no intent to hurt them
Will come neutered, up-to-date on vaccines (including rabies), microchipped, and on flea/tick prevention
Loves being outside and has lots of playful energy

Biscuit has been adopted twice but returned both times — not because he’s a bad boy, but because of his size, energy, and occasional accidents indoors. He needs a family who will be patient, understanding, and consistent with training. With that, he will absolutely thrive!
He’s spent almost his entire life in rescue care… and he deserves so much more. Please help us find Biscuit the home he’s been waiting for.

Share this post, spread the word, and let’s get this sweet boy into the loving home he deserves!
